The following privacy statement describes how each member's personally identifiable information is used on  This policy does not reflect or establish privacy guidelines for List Servers hosted by HTLA.

What is personally identifiable information?
These are things such as your name, firm name, mailing address, email address, telephone and fax number.

Information Collection and Use
HTLA, its affiliates, partners and sponsors may use personally identifiable information from members at several different points on its Web site. Once a member enters HTLA, the member is not anonymous to HTLA, and usage patterns of the site can be monitored on an individual basis both for security and marketing purposes.

Registration Information Collected
In order to use portions of this Web site, a member must complete a registration form. During registration a member is required to verify his/her contact information (such as name, firm name, mailing address, email address, telephone, fax number).

Secure Credit Card Transactions and Financial Information Collected
Financial information (including credit card numbers and expiration dates) are never stored in HTLA’s secure servers or databases, and all commerce transactions are handled using fully PCI Compliant methods. HTLA will use credit card information only for the purposes of fulfilling orders, membership dues and political contributions.

Other information collected by HTLA
HTLA receives and records information in their server logs from members' browsers including the member IP addresses. HTLA uses information for customizing content members see, for security purposes, administering the site, tracking member movement, and gathering broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP logs may be linked to members with personally identifiable information including searches performed on HTLA.

HTLA requires cookies on their Web sites for member tracking and security purposes. Some of HTLA’s business partners may also use cookies on the HTLA site (for example, vendors or sponsors). However, HTLA has no access to or control over cookies used by business partners, vendors and sponsors, and the member may choose to block cookies from those business partners. Blocking cookies may result in the member’s inability to access certain areas of the website.

Sharing your information
HTLA may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and sponsors. This information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual HTLA  member. HTLA may partner with other businesses to provide specific member services. When members sign up for HTLA services provided by other business partners through the HTLA site, HTLA may share personally identifiable information that is necessary for the third party to provide such services to members. These business parties are required to use personally identifiable information exclusively for the purpose of providing their services.
